I offer individual, and group headshot packages on-site, outdoors, or in my downtown studio. My goal is to get you a modern, professional portrait with personality. No forced smiles, awkward poses, or dated backdrops. Just natural, candid, you.
Looking for a quick headshot for your LinkedIn or work website?
My individual headshot is $500+tax and includes a 20 minute session outdoors or in my studio, a private online proof gallery, and 3 final edited and airbrushed images. Add 1 additional person for $200.
Need headshots for a team? Or a longer shoot for a new website?
My one-hour business package is $1200+tax and can be held on location at your office, outdoors, or in my studio. This package is popular for groups of 4-10 people needing new headshots, or a business owner looking for time to shoot multiple outfits, poses, and backgrounds for a new website or marketing collateral. Includes a private online gallery and 75+ hi res images.
Have a group of 20+ people?
Please email me for a custom quote headshot package.
Book online! A quick and painless 20 minute sesion in my SODO studio or at one of my outdoor locations. Rather than forced or awkward poses, I direct with prompts like “tell me about your kids/recent trip/favorite vacation” which makes the experience enjoyable, and the photos more personable.
These usually include an individual headshot for each member of the staff, a team photo or two, and some office interiors and/or “working candids” (meeting with a client or patient, etc.) if needed. Can be classic look-at-the-camera, candid style, or a mix of both. Shoot on-site or in my SODO studio. Please email for a custom quote.
For an individual needing more than a standard headshot. Usually an hour (more if we use 2 locations), we get a mix of look-at-the-camera and candid shots. Includes a variety of backgrounds, and outfit changes if you like. The goal is a library of images to be used for your website, blog, and social media.
I’ve worked with food bloggers and Instagram chefs, nutritionists, and book authors. Whatever the project we can get beautiful images of your food, and brand.
A number of quick sessions throughout the year to get you a continuous supply of image content for your social media. An example series: business portraits in studio, office/workspace session, engaging with a customer, and a more personal outdoor session (hiking, exploring Seattle, etc.).
The “other” category! I’ve photographed wind turbine fields for a renewable start up, sustainable camper trailers in a forest setting, and a commercial fisherman on his custom charter boat. If you need photos for your small business, please inquire!
I just need a quick headshot, how do I book?
Book through my online scheduler. Just choose studio or outdoor, fill out the form and input payment information. Need headshots for the whole office? Email me for a quote.
We need office headshots, a group photo, and some others. What is the cost?
If your team is 4-10 people I recommend my 1-hour business package. It includes headshots for each person, some team photos, and lifestyle candids. Have a larger group? Email me or use the form below to submit a custom quote request.
What types of businesses do you photograph?
I’ve worked with medical offices (dental, physical therapy), financial and law firms, food brands (bakers, food bloggers), and other small business (calligraphers, yoga instructors, business coaches). I specialize in small to mid-size businesses.
Do we get the digital files?
Yes. Images are delivered in hi res, SRGB color profile, JPEG format via a password-protected online gallery. I include some black and white versions when inspired. The images are yours to use on your website, blog, or social media. Because I retain the copyright, written permission is required when submitting to publications such as magazines or business journals.
Can our marketing department edit the images if needed?
Cropping for websites and marketing materials is allowed, yes. How I compose, light, and edit the image comprise the finished art so please do not edit the images beyond scaling/cropping. If you need custom edits or additional tweaks, I am happy to help.
What do we need to do to prepare for our session?
Consult your web designer and marketing department.
Many web designs include full-width banner imagery, which requires me to shoot farther back to make the crop work. Additionally, they may want me to shoot vertical or horizontal depending on how they’ll design the headshot/about page. Consider your brand, target market, and audience. What will they expect to see? Classic, look at the camera portraits or more candid imagery? I can do both styles, but choose the one that fits your business best.
What should we wear?
I’m happy to help style your session. If your website will have a particular color palette, the clothing colors in the photo shoot should coordinate. For example, a white/grey/blue color web layout would clash with red or bright colored clothing.
In terms of formality, that’s usually driven by your industry. Suits and formal attire are common for law offices, real estate, and consulting firms, but a blogger, author, or outdoor company would be better represented by causal attire or activewear.
Do you provide professional hair and makeup?
Yes I have a team of hair and makeup artists on retainer for business photography shoots. They will arrive on-site prior to your shoot. If you’d like hair and makeup let me know, and I can provide a quote and help set up the appointment for you.
