Such a special session! I was lucky enough to photograph baby Grady, then a week later–his auntie’s wedding! We did some candid and look-at-the-camera shots inside and then, since it was so nice out, finished with some family photos in their backyard. My newborn sessions include at least 3 different portraits/backgrounds of baby, baby with any siblings, each parent, and the whole family. We pause anytime for feedings, diaper changes, or snuggles. Whatever baby needs. The shoot is relaxed, with your comfort in mind.

I tell new parents–“don’t clean”! Typically I shoot near the biggest window in your home, the brightest bedroom, and the nursery if applicable. The rest can be a mess…just leave it and enjoy those baby snuggles.

To book a newborn session, use my online scheduler and choose an appointment about 2 weeks after your due date. If baby arrives early or late, we just reschedule!
