One of my all-time favorite shoots by far. We captured marketing images for health coach Christina Tidwell, at a beautiful home kitchen by Distinctive Kitchens. The goal was to create a library of images for Christina, that could be used on her website, blog, and social media feeds. Christina was a breeze to work with, and so at ease in front of the camera. Not all subjects are, which is why I have prompts and directions at the ready to coach you through what to do and how to relax while having your picture taken.
My style embraces natural light and candid looks. I want the images to connect your brand to the target customer, in a personable and meaningful way. The idea is to show the best parts of your business, and give insight into what it would be like to work with you. Forced, posed, look-at-the-camera shots just can’t achieve that. On any of my business shoots, I prioritize a consistent look and feel, and make sure we’re staying on-brand with our choices of location, lighting, and posing.
My talented friend and stylist Annie Abbott curated 3 beautiful looks for the shoot. Having a professional stylist really takes the photographs to another level. When the subject is well-dressed, the brand imagery is more polished and powerful.
Christina is a food coach and RN, focusing on treating autoimmune disorders through nutrition. I’m a client and can’t say enough about her! She’s fantastic to work with and has put me on a path to much better health.
Note: The beverage in the photos is drinking vinegar (recipe here) – so delish!
