Beaches are in all their glory at golden hour – the hour before sunset. I only shoot golden hour at beach, because…that light! Come in barefeet if you like. Family photo sessions are focused on lots of connection, candid moments, and we might splash in the waves at the end if you’re up for it.
discovery park
You seriously can never go wrong with a Seattle family photography session at Discovery Park at sunset. I prefer weekdays to avoid the crowds. Beautiful views of Puget Sound, wispy fields, and PNW heaven.
MAGNUSON PARK
Magnuson Park offers a big wispy field with Golden Hour light at Sunset, little beaches, docks, and walkways. It’s great for extended family photography (i.e. grandma & grandpa, all the aunts and cousins) or littles that need an easy walk from the parking lot. If you’ve shot this location before, I have at least 3 different places to park and shoot, so happy to mix it up for your next session.
