LOCATIONS
Below are my select locations for Petite sessions.
Classic sessions can select one of these, or another Seattle location of their choice.
MAGNUSON PARK
Wispy fields, a dock, beach, and if you like – historic buildings from the old naval base. Because this location is on the lake, I avoid it in the windy Winter, but Spring, Summer, and Fall are beautiful!
GREENLAKE PARK
Depending on the time of day, I have 3 spots around Greenlake to shoot. There are docks, beautiful foliage, and Fall colors later in the year.Â
UW CAMPUS
If you’d like a mix of old architecture, and pretty landscaping, University of Washington is a fun choice! Cherry Blossoms are in their peak in the quad in March, but draw huge crowds. I recommend a sunrise weekday shoot if you’d like that background. If you’re a Husky fan I can highlight the popular and sentimental backgrounds. If you’re not, I can shoot in a way that just makes it look like a pretty spot but not the school. This is my go-to outdoor location for rainy days as the doorways offer a pretty shelter.
CENTER FOR URBAN HORTICULTURE
Wispy grasses, leading lines of pretty trails, and lots and lots of foliage and color in Autumn. This is a very walkable spot and easily accessed from the parking lot.
