Rockstar clients! Sallie and Tony went along with my idea for a sunrise session, and met me at Discovery Park at 7am. We had the beach and lighthouse all to ourselves, and had fun snapping candids and talking about their big day. Like all my wedding clients, they’re regular people, not professional models. Most couples are a little nervous for their engagement shoot, since they don’t know how to stand or what to do in front of the camera. That’s what I’m here for! Instead of forcing you into awkward poses and telling you what to do with your head, or chin, or arms. I instead use prompts, like “look at each other and talk about a memory only you two share” or “who made the first move”? Giving you something fun to discuss, that is specific to your relationship encourages more connected shots. You forget the camera and we get the candid engagement photos you want. Of course if your hair is looking goofy, or your hand is hanging awkwardly, I’ll tweak a bit to make the photograph flattering and pretty.
Sallie and Tony are getting married today at the Villa Academy Chapel and Edgewater Hotel. Woohoo!
