Emma and Zach chose to shoot their senior photos together, which I loved! They chose Discovery Park sunset during July, which is some of the best Seattle light all year. We caught the wildflower blooms on the bluff (mid-late July), and snapped lots of candids and walking shots.

Senior photos don’t have to be stuffy! I aim to keep the photo shoot light and fun, so your session produces lots of natural, lifestyle images that show your personality.

The second half of their session, Emma and Zach changed into their graduation caps and gowns for photos in the meadow, with PNW view of Puget Sound. Loved the shot of them throwing their caps!

Senior photo shoots can be scheduled anytime of the year, but Summer and Fall are most popular. Summer will see the best golden hour sunsets, and Fall has beautiful colors. You can book my 1-hour Classic package, which allows time for multiple outfit changes and backgrounds and includes all the digital files (75+), or my 30-minute Petite package which allows for 1 outfit change and includes 30 digitals.

If you’re a parent looking into senior photography sessions in Seattle, you can also merge the session with family photos. I recommend my 1 hour package for that approach. We dedicate half the time to family photos, and half the time to your high school senior.

As a Seattle photographer, I love our city but am happy to travel to the Cascades, Bainbridge Island, or other parts of the PNW or Puget Sound for your photo shoot! We have so many beautiful Washington backgrounds for graduation photos. I love tailoring the shoot to your senior’s personality and style!

Discovery Park is such a gorgeous setting for senior photos, maternity pictures, family photos, or a little engagement or elopement session too!
