Bryce needed headshots and business portraits for his new real estate business, so we met at my natural light photography studio in downtown Seattle for just that. We shot a few different outfits, a number of different backgrounds, making sure to mix classic look-at-the-camera headshots (that can be used for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram profiles) as well as candid, lifestyle imagery to serve as b-roll photos for his website and marketing collateral.
Interested in a business photo shoot? The studio offers white, grey, and dark grey backgrounds (and a variety of paper color seamless rolls too if you like). There is also a large table if you’d like to set up “working” shots, like typing on a laptop, taking a phone call, or writing in a notebook.
After 15 minutes in the studio, we went outside to capture a more urban look and feel with steel and brick backdrops and the city skyline. Ultimately I want to provide my business photography clients with images that show their professionalism but also their personality and style, in a gallery that offers a lot of variety with backgrounds and posing. Because most clients only get headshots every 8-10 years, I know the photos need to last a while and in the digital-age, they need to have a nice mix to span different types of marketing media.
