As a Seattle family photographer, I’m always looking for the best golden hour light! This session took place in late Fall, when it’s typically cloudier at night. But we got the best backlighting for photography. We shot at the family’s home and their nearby local park, to do their outdoor family portraits on the beach and dock with the sunset behind them. It made for gorgeous lifestyle photos, and family pictures for their holiday card.

This Fall family photo shoot was 1 hour, but split between family portraits and senior photography. We can do both in the same session, especially if you’re just looking “for a few” of your high school senior. We got the entire group, kids together, portraits of each child, and look-at-the-camera classic poses and candids of their senior boy.
