This session was a wedding photographer’s dream! Dora and Weikun are from South Korea and Singapore, respectively. They’re having a small wedding ceremony at Alki, photographed by yours truly, then larger wedding celebrations in their home cities. They wanted their engagement session to document their Seattle life, and beautiful images of the Pacific Northwest. Um, YEAH! Dora did what I think many brides should do and wore her wedding dress to the shoot. Brilliant! We went everywhere. The shoot started on the ferry over to Bainbridge, where we hit the Winslow Wharf Marina, downtown Bainbridge, then headed to Faye Bainbridge Park for sunset shots on the beach. We caught the last ferry boat home, which was practically empty, and caught more sunset images on the deck with gorgeous views of downtown Seattle. I love breaking outside the box and trying new approaches to engagement sessions!
