I had the privilege of photographing Lauren and Evan’s wedding on July 13, 2013. Lauren is a good friend of mine from college and Evan, a friend from graduate school. So capturing their day was extra special because we already knew each other! I loved the classic style they chose for their attire and the attendants – they’ll definitely be loving their photos for years to come. The bride and groom got ready at the Fairmont Olympic and Pan Pacific hotels, respectively. I was able to capture a few shots at each location, before we did formal photos at Volunteer Park. The ceremony was held at Holy Names Academy Chapel in Capitol Hill with reception following at Lake Union Cafe. We even got a few photos down at the Eastlake waterfront as the sun was going down. I loved that they topped off the great day with a hot dog stand and ice cream cart for their guests! What a wonderful couple and a beautiful day to get married!
