Gavin was looking for updated “headshots” to freshen up his online brand. I use quotations because I don’t think a corporate portrait has to fit any kind of predictable above-the-waist-only mold anymore. Gone are the days of posing on wooden stools in front of boring backdrops. We’re in the information age, when graphics, imagery, and the online world move at the speed of light. Our online profiles have the ability to say more and reach farther than paper resumes ever could. I loved the opportunity to take a fresh perspective and get a new image for Gavin that was candid and approachable, but also smart and cutting edge to match the tech industry he’s in. Hope we pulled it off! Shot on location at the Foster Business School at Paccar Hall, University of Washington.
